Steve Bloomer died March 12, 2019, in Tacoma, surrounded by family. He was 66 and lived a rewarding life full of hard work, family and adventure.
He was born May 8, 1952, in Olympia to Clayton and Velda Bloomer. He and his sisters, Debbie and Betty, were raised in the Kent Valley until 1966 when their parents purchased a dairy farm in Enumclaw. He attended school in Enumclaw where he met his high school sweetheart, Susan Baker. They were married in the fall of 1970 and raised two children on a diary farm in Enumclaw.
He is survived by his wife Susan; daughter Jennifer Anderson (Zac); son John Bloomer; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service is planned for 1 p.m. Saturday, April 13, at The Summit Church in Enumclaw.
