Steven Ross Parkin died Nov. 25, 2019, at his home in Black Diamond. He was 63.
Known as “Boze” or “Caveman,” he was born Nov. 15, 1956, in Auburn, Washington, to Billie Parkin Jr. and Elsie Parkin. He graduated from Enumclaw High School in 1975 and went on to work as a logger, heavy equipment operator and taxidermist. He enjoyed playing softball, hunting, flat-track racing and barbecuing for friends and family.
He is survived by his mother, Elsie Parkin of Black Diamond; daughters Lindsay Hobert (Nathan) of Enumclaw and Randi Blackburn (Rob) of Carbonado; brothers Mike Parkin of Black Diamond and David Parkin (Jackie) of Lake Tapps; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Billie Parkin Jr.
Memorial Services will be held after the New Year. The date is to be determined and will be posted on the Weeks’ Funeral Home website, www.weeksfuneralhomes.com.
