Sylvia Jennie Adams (Nee Martin)

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Sylvia Jennie Adams (nee Martin), 94, of Enumclaw, WA, who passed away on December 5, 2024, at MultiCare Auburn Medical Center.

Sylvia Jennie Adams was born on May 6, 1930, in Hoquiam, WA, to Milo and Suoma (nee Jukkara) Martin. Throughout her life, she was known for her warmth, her love of square dancing with multiple clubs, her years of dedicated work as a Sealer for Boeing, and her passion for showing horses with. her daughter. Above all, she was loved for her smile and her many contributions to those around her.

A devoted spouse, parent, grandparent, greatgrandparent, sister, and friend, Sylvia Jennie Adams found joy in many activities. She loved to travel, whether in an RV or camper, and enjoyed razor clamming, playing bingo, selling items at bazaars, and raising Yorkie dogs in her senior years.

Her kindness and infectious spirit left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Sylvia Jennie Adams is survived by her daughter, Jennie, and her husband, Allan of Enumclaw; grandchildren Tracy, Adam, and Lee of Enumclaw; and five great-grandchildren, and sister Carol of Kent.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Adams, parents Milo and Suoma Martin, and her sister, Marjorie Copeland. A viewing will be held on Friday, December 20th, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Weeks’ Funeral Home in Buckley, WA. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 21st, from 11:OO AM, followed by a reception at the same location. A graveside service will take place at Riverton Crest in Tukwila, WA, at 2:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations of plants or monetary gifts to the Enumclaw Senior Center in her memory. Sylvia Jennie Adams will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
