A memorial service for Tammy O. Davio will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 30, at High Road Community Church, Sixth and Lawson in Black Diamond.
She died May 1, 2011, at her home in Elma, Wash.
She was born June 12, 1959, in Highmore, S.D., to Victor and Alula Odegaard. She attended Thomas Jefferson High School in Federal Way and later joined the U.S. Navy, serving for 10 years. While in the Navy she met and married Joe Davio. She resided in Enumclaw for 20 years before moving to Elma and had worked 17 years at Rainier Legal Center in Black Diamond.
She is survived by husband Joseph of Elma; stepfather Don Smith of Medford, Ore.; four sisters; and two brothers.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother.
Memorials are suggested to a charity of the donor’s choice.
