Longtime Enumclaw resident Elsie “Mom” Van Putten, 95, died Sept. 15, 2012, in Renton.

She was born April 7, 1917, in Chinook, Mont.

A funeral service will take place at noon Friday, Sept. 21, at Edline-Yahn and Covington Funeral Chapel, 27221 S.E. 156th St. in Kent. Viewing will be prior to the service at 11 a.m. She will be buried at Hillcrest Cemetery in Kent following the service.
