Winfred Eugene Pritchett died Dec. 10, 2016, in Enumclaw. He was 86.
He was born Feb. 15, 1930, in Eminence, Mo., to Willie and Lilly Mae (Bunch) Pritchett. On Oct. 5, 1949, he married Nadalene Kauffman in Columbus, Ga. He served in the U.S. Army until being honorably discharged in September 1953; after active duty he served in the Reserves until 1960. He worked as a self-employed carpenter. His activities included golfing, fishing and watching sports.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Nadalene; daughter Lehann (Paul) Nelson; sons Neil (Jennifer) Pritchett, Randy Pritchett and Toby (Deana) Pritchett; five sisters; 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Ted Pritchett.
He was laid to rest with military honors at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
