All Hornets cross country teams heading to West Central District championships

EHS girls placed first in the South Puget Sound League 2A championships

All four cross country programs from the Plateau – that’s boys’ and girls’ teams from both Enumclaw and White River high schools – have advanced to the coming West Central District championships.

The district meet is set for this Saturday, Oct. 29, at the Chambers Creek site in University Place. From there, select runners will qualify for the Class 2A state meet, set for Nov. 5 at Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco.

The local runners earned a WCD berth during the Oct. 22 South Puget Sound League 2A championships, contested at Fort Steilacoom Park.
