The Enumclaw Specialized Recreation “strives to provide opportunities for individuals with special needs and their families”.

Looking to play a round of golf and support a worthy cause in the process? The answer is just days away.

Enumclaw High School’s golf program is partnering with Enumclaw Specialized Recreation to put on a fundraising golf tournament and registration is still open.

The Aug. 10 tourney will be the third annual event. Money raised will support program needs and help create opportunities for special needs athletes.

The fundraiser will take place at Enumclaw Golf Course, with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. The registration fee is $125 per person with a cart or $100 without a cart.

Enumclaw Specialized Recreation, a nonprofit operation, “strives to provide opportunities for individuals with special needs and their families,” according to the organization’s mission statement. “We foster an inclusive community for our members through social, athletic and community events in order to promote mental and physical well-being.”

Registration can be done for individuals or a team of four players. Anyone interested in registering or donating can find information at: www.enumclawspecializedrec.com. Or, reserve a spot by emailing tournament organizer Ryan Picinich at rpicinich74@gmail.com.
