With wins over White River and Yelm, the Bonney Lake Panthers improved to 3-1 overall.
Bonney Lake handed the Yelm Tornadoes a 25-20, 25-16, 25-22 nonleague de-feat Thursday at home.
Offensively, Allison Hills recorded 11 kills and Taylor Watkins added four. Ashley Reisen dished out 17 assists and Chelsea Merkel had nine.
Bailey Kinkel collected six digs, along with a pair of kills and was 5-of-5 serving.
For the serving line, the Panthers were 62-of-69. Karlyn Edwards was perfect from the serving line in two outings. She was 19-of-19 with four aces, while Hannah Healy was 12-of-14 in three games.
Against White River Sept. 15, the Panthers needed five games to pull out a 3-2 win over the Hornets.
Bonney Lake won the first match 25-21, but White River rallied for a 15-10 win in game two. The Panthers rebounded for a three-point win, 25-22 and again the Hornets bounced back with a 25-23 victory.
The Panthers won the tie-breaker match, 15-7.
Hills paced the Panthers with 19 kills, two blocks with 12 digs. Danielle Norton added eight kills.
Merkel recorded 29 assists and seven digs, while serving five aces. Edwards had 37 digs, while Norton and Watkins added nine each.
Bonney Lake will host Clover Park Thursday and Capital Monday. Both games start at 7:15 p.m.
