Bonney Lake and Sumner high schools were well represented when South Puget Sound League 3A all-league soccer honors were passed out.
A fine season by Bonney Lake was reflected in the voting, which had goalkeeper Alex Hall named defensive most valuable player and Luke Helling-Christy chosen coach of the year.
Bonney Lake players named to the first team were forward JD Walter, midfielders Tim Knowles and Jordan Billy and defenders Kyle Campbell and Nick Thomas, along with Hall.
Representing Sumner High on the first team was defender Dominic Carter.
Earning second-team honors from Sumner High were midfielder Mario Gonzalez and defenders Spencer Ewing and Lloyd Merritt.
