Bonney Lake High’s Desirae Haselwood came out on top in Monday’s girls golf state qualifier. Haselwood, a junior, shot an 89: the best score of the tournament.

She is the only Panther to move on to the state tournament.

The 3A state tournament begins Monday at Esmerelda Golf Course in Spokane. Monday is a practice round and competition begins in earnest Tuesday at 7:30 a.m. The top 40 players (including ties) will return on Wednesday.

Tee times will be posted on the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association page at 4 p.m.
