Bonney Lake High senior outfielder Taylor Watkins will be a Buckeye.

On Nov. 17, Watkins signed her letter of intent to attend the Ohio State University and play with their Division I fastpitch team on a full scholarship.

Watkins has played fastpitch for almost 10 years, she said.

“I loved the campus and the coaches when I saw them on the informal tour,” she said. “I knew it was the right fit.”

Coach Andrew Sage said he couldn’t be happier for Watkins, and that her ability to make a Division I team spoke to her work ethic, attendance and physical ability.
