The West Central District III 3A girls swimming and diving championships are scheduled for Friday and Saturday at Hazen High in Renton.

Competition begins with diving preliminaries at 11 a.m. Friday. Swimming starts at 5 p.m. Finals are scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

Enumclaw will compete with 16 teams from the Narrows, Olympic, Seamount and South Puget Sound leagues. Hornet diver Erica Bonthuis has qualified for state and is hoping a few teammates will join her after Saturday’s finals, where the top four advance to state.
