Enumclaw High put eight in the finals, won four titles and was bolstered by a bevy of third- and fourth-place finishers to run away with the SPSL 3A subregional wrestling championship Saturday at Auburn Mountainview.
The Hornets pulled away with a 427 point lead. Decatur finished second with 366 points and Bonney Lake was third with 279.
The top four in each weight division move on to the Region 3 tournament Saturday at Bonney Lake. The top five there move on to the state tournament Feb. 17 and 18 where EHS will try to defend its title.

Lucas Somera scored a 5-1 decision over Tyler Allen of Peninsula for the 138-pound title.
Justin Mitchell won the 152-pound title with a 6-0 decision over Tyler Hernandez of Bonney Lake.
TJ Cormier earned the 195-pound title, pinning Jordan Scholtz of Bonney Lake.
Colten Malek pinned teammate Chris Williams for the 220-pound crown.
At 120 pounds, Tyke Reid lost a close 3-0 battle to Bonney Lake’s Andrew Cunningham for second.
Travis Reano bowed to Peninsula’s Randy Nimrick for second at 132 pounds.
Garrett Grau finished second to Kyle Gleed of Decatur in the heavyweight final.
Hornets Hunter Haney, 106, Colton Hodges, 120, Jayden Fend, 126, Ryan Anderson, 160, Kelyn Wallin, 170, Wyley Stewart, 182, each earned third-place honors.
Garrett Jarosz, 113, Cole Snider, 138, Falani Gill, 145, Shane Sanders, 170, finished fourth.
Sam Haney, 145, Jonathan Sugihara, 160, and Jared Semon, 285, were fifth. Jaciel Contreras, 182, came home sixth.
