Enumclaw High fastpitch’s lumber awoke Friday as Clover Park’s pitcher gave up nine bases on balls and 11 hits to a suddenly healed Enumclaw group which won the shortened affair 16-4.
Against Yelm, Austin Rogers started as pitcher, striking out 13 and then fanned 12 more against Peninsula the next night, allowing only three hits.
She is one of the South Puget Sound League 3A’s top pitchers, having registered nearly 50 strikeouts in this young campaign.
Rogers was given a night off against the Warriors. Kenicia McClellan got the starting assignment and pitched the first two innings, giving way to Molly LaMotte and Madeline Petellin.
