The next game Enumclaw hosts Sumner 7 p.m. Friday in the first South Puget Sound League 3A test of the season.

Sumner beat Shelton Friday 51-14 at Sunset Chev Stadium. The Spartans are 2-0 this season, both nonleague.

Sumner coach Keith Ross played high school football in Enumclaw for the Hornets’ coach Mark Gunderson’s father. Ross went on to play for Central.
