Enumclaw High gymnasts placed second in a field of five teams the evening of Jan. 20, with two Hornets placing high in the all-around competition.
Paced by Julia Carter and Brooke Faul, the EHS crew trailed only Olympia High at the end of the night. The rest of the pack included the third-place Rogers Rams, followed by Capital High and Emerald Ridge.
At the conclusion of the four individual events Carter was second in the all-around and Faul was third. Mylee Bonthuis wound up 11th, Anna Adsero was 13th, Emma Clayton 21st, Eowyn Hardebeck 22nd and Kaylee Hehr 24th.

The Jan. 20 meet was staged at the gymnastics center (operated by the Puyallup School District) on the grounds of the South Hill Mall.
