Enumclaw High defeated neighboring White River 2-1 Monday night in season openers for both teams.

The game was played on the White River campus.

White River was first on the scoreboard when Josh Clough converted a penalty kick in the 13th minute.

Enumclaw’s first goal was provided by Seth Olney in the 48th minute; the game winner came in the 71st minute by Sam Nielsen, assisted by Geo Galan.
