White River High has saddled up an equestrian team and is seeing success in the Washington High School Equestrian Teams Division 2’s first couple of meets of the season.

In White River’s first meet in February at Grays Harbor, Lindsay Glasgow was the Hornets’ top finisher, earning second place in showmanship and stock seat.

Crystal Narolski and Emily Neff also earned a second-place finish in team sorting.

In the second meet of the season in March in Tacoma, Kayleigh Heldreth won the figure eight competition, while Glasgow claimed working rancher honors.

The Hornets also earned a slew of third-place finishes starting with Spencer Hallquist in trail and Skyler Hallquist in hunt seat.

Narolaski and Spencer Hallquist teamed for third in working pairs and Narolski and Neff also scored a third in team sorting.

Competition continues Thursday and runs through Sunday at the Grays Harbor fairgrounds in Elma, Wash.
