The Sumner High gymnasts launch their 2009-10 season Dec. 9 in their home gymnasium.

The Spartan squad, under veteran coach Kimmie Marton, will host four-way action that includes Bonney Lake, Auburn and Rogers high schools. The meet begins at 7 p.m.

The Spartans’ next meet comes Dec. 16 at Bonney Lake, where they will compete against the host Panthers, Auburn and Puyallup High.

With those two meets under their belts, the SHS girls will take a break until after the holiday season.
