It’s not too late to run, climb and crawl with hundreds of other adrenaline athletes at Saturday’s Warrior Dash in Bonney Lake.
The Warrior Dash, organized by Red Frog Events, is a 5K run peppered with 12 obstacles, ranging from pools of mud and steep hills to barbed wire and fire. In 2013, Warrior Dashes have been or are scheduled to be held in 34 states and Ontario, Canada. Finishers are rewarded with beer, live music and food in a festival area.
Red Frog encourages runners to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Racers who raise more than $300 in donations are given access to a VIP area with private showers, catering and lounge. Racers can also donate shoes to USAgain, which will have a tent near the finish line.
Washington’s Warrior Dash will held at Kelley Farm on the Sumner-Buckley Highway. Registration closes at 11:59 p.m. tonight, July 16.
