Bonney Lake High School’s boys basketball team absorbed a 68-55 loss to the Auburn Mountainview Lions Tuesday night. Unfortunately for the Panthers, the game was lost in the first half: quarters one and two saw the Lions take 2- and 11-point leads, respectively, and the second half went dead even in both quarters.

Quarterly scores were 14-16, 15-26, 11-11 and 15-15.

Panther Kaleb Zahnow gave a valiant performance, scoring 18 points and matching the performance of Lion JJ Lacey.

The Panthers play Decatur at home Friday.
