Panthers defeat Auburn Mountainview in first conference game | Bonney Lake Girls Soccer

Bonney Lake's girls soccer team defeated Auburn Mountainview 2-0 Sept. 25.

Bonney Lake’s girls soccer team defeated Auburn Mountainview 2-0 Sept. 25. This was the Panthers first conference game of the season in South Puget Sound League 3A.

Ashley Cade scored both goals at the 16-minute and 53-minute marks. She was assisted by McKenzie Sjoden and Lindsey Hanbridge, respectively.

Sydney Bennet shut out an attempted Auburn Mountainview goal.

The Panthers are scheduled to play Decatur on the Gators’ home turf Thursday, Sept. 27.

Wrestlers hit the mat after holiday break

Enumclaw recently placed in the middle of the pack during the second-annual Pac Coast Championships.

The Enumclaw High boys wrestling team managed to fit a couple of tournaments into its schedule during the holidays and will return to action Jan. 8 with a dual meet at Kent-Meridian High School. The White River boys had one tourney during winter break and also will return to the mat Jan. 8 when they travel to Federal Way High to challenge the Eagles.
