Bonney Lake’s fastpitch team defeated Auburn Riverside 16-3 at home Thursday.

A Tuesday game against Tahoma High was rescheduled to March 22 due to inclement weather.

The Panthers started the game ahead, earning two runs in the first inning to the Ravens’ one. They widened the gap in the second with seven runs to the Ravens’ two, and earned seven more over the next three.

Kali Schouteren went to bat three times and made three runs. She earned a 2-RBI, hit one triple and stole three bases.

On the mound, Melissa Charron struck out eight players.

The Panthers played Kentwood High School at home Friday.
