Bonney Lake High School’s girls basketball team lost a close 36-32 game to Auburn Mountainview Tuesday night.

The Panthers began with a strong first quarter, going 12-6. But the second quarter saw the team lose its lead, going 7-15 and ending the half 19-21. They brought the overall score to a tie in an 8-6 third quarter, but fell behind four points in the fourth.

Mekenzie Voellger was the high scoring player of both teams, shooting 13 points.

The Panthers play Decatur at Decatur High School Friday night.
