The White River High fastpitch team – still seeking its first victory of the season – was unable to get any games in last week, but instead spent the week honing its skills for this week when the schedule calls for five games in five days.
Things got rolling Monday when the Peninsula Seahawks came to town and continued Tuesday when White River traveled to Lakes. Franklin Pierce will be at White River today, Wednesday, the Hornets travel to Clover Park Thursday and host Auburn Mountainview Friday. All games begin at 4 p.m.
The Hornets were 0-6 heading into this week’s play.
