In its continuing fight against sexual violence, nationally renowned RAINN ‘EM IN will be at Emerald Downs Saturday, May 18, and will hold four races during the regular Emerald Downs racing program that begins at 2 p.m.
What is RAINN ‘EM IN?
It’s a horse race. But the ponies are inflatable. And teams bounce to the finish line in a fight against sexual violence.
Jennifer Shipe is the founder of RAINN ‘EM IN. A rape survivor, her goal is to raise awareness and support for victims of sexual assault through an event centered in community and fun. The event benefits RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network), the nation’s largest anti-sexual violence organization. To learn more about RAINN ‘EM IN, go to rainnemin.com.
