SHS GIRLS BASKETBALL: SHS girls whip Cruisers

The Sumner High girls traveled to Eatonville Dec. 14 and beat the highly touted Cruisers 75-52.

The Sumner High girls traveled to Eatonville Dec. 14 and beat the highly touted Cruisers 75-52.

Friday night, Sumner hosted Franklin Pierce and handily overcame the Cardinals 74-37, to improve to 4-0 overall.

Sumner guards Erika Olsen and Angie Sanchez combined for 40 points against Eatonville and Kaitlin King turned in a whale of a performance as she not only scored 18 points, but gathered in 14 rebounds.

At Sumner High’s gym Friday, Sanchez totaled 19 points, Kendall Theden added 11 and Brenna Allsop had 10 as SHS collected its fourth straight triumph.
