The Sumner High girls swimming team kept its win streak alive with a 117-66 win over Steilacoom Tuesday, Oct. 19.
Five of the Spartans’ nine winning times were state qualifying times.
The 200-yard medley relay of Alicia Ditty, Ashley Huynh, Madison Munger and Sami Hendricks won in a state-qualifying 2:01.25.
Munger won the 200 freestyle and 100 butterfly with state-qualifying times, 2:04.83 and 1:05.44, respectively.
Ditty took first in the 200 IM in 2:37.35.
Hendricks won the 50 freestyle with as state time of 25.69 and the 100 breaststroke in 1:19.16.
Huynh led the 100 freestyle with a time of 1:00.05.
The 200 free relay team of Munger, Huynh, Emma Thompson, Hendricks finished with a state time of 1:47.90.
Thompson won the 100 backstroke in 1:11.69.
