Ashlee Sincraugh, a senior at Sumner High, has signed a letter-of-intent to run for the Lewis-Clark State College cross country team this fall, Warrior coach Mike Collins announced on Tuesday.

Lewis-Clark State College is in Lewiston, Idaho.

Sincraugh is currently ranked No. 10 in Washington in the 200 meters and 11th in the 400 meters. She has competed in races ranging from 200 to 3,200 meters.

“We are excited about Ashlee coming into our program,” Collins said. “She is a runner that has been involved as a junior for a long time in the USATF system and has tons of experience in racing. While at Sumner she qualified for the state cross country championships all four years and has been consistently a sub-20 minute 5k runner in cross country.”

As a junior in track, she finished seventh at state in the 400 and was part of a state qualifying 1,600-meter relay team.

“She definitely has wheels and we are looking forward to her using those wheels in a Warrior uniform in the fall while representing the college,” Collins said.
