The Spartans entered the tournament on its second day and trounced North Kitsap 3-0 in their first game, guaranteeing a top four finish.

Alas, Washington High dashed a go at the Champion title, defeating the Spartans 3-1.

The Spartans were finally defeated by Fife 3-0.

The Spartans still have a chance at state prestige when they begin the WIAA Championship Friday. They open against Burlington-Edison at 11 a.m.
