The Sumner Spartans beat the Enumclaw Hornets Tuesday in overtime 1-0.

The only goal of the game came in the 82nd minute.

Seniors Abby Smith and Jamie Lange are credited with the shutout.

The Spartans lead the South Puget Sound League 3A with a 8-1-0 league record and 9-2-0 overall.

Sumner hosts the Lakes Lancers at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16.
