Enumclaw High graduate Brian Scalabrine and the defending NBA champion Boston Celtics were outmanned by the Orlando Magic 101-82 Sunday in Game 7 of the best-of-seven NBA Eastern Conference semifinal series.
Orlando was magic, hitting 13 of 21 buckets from 3-point range for 61.9 percent shooting.
A 6-foot-9 forward/center, Scalabrine scored two points during 13 minutes of play in Sunday’s contest.
After two years of play at Highline Community College, Scalabrine finished his college career at the University of Southern California and was drafted in the second round by the New Jersey Nets. He has been a reserve with the Celtics for a number of years.
