Enumclaw advances to the next round of the Class 3A state basketball tournament with a 49-43 win over Meadowdale Wednesday afternoon at the Tacoma Dome.

The No. 1-ranked Hornets were led by the double-figure scoring of Tarren VanTrojen’s 16 points and Taylor Myers’ 14.

The Hornets shot 42 percent from the floor during the contest.

Enumclaw is scheduled to face the winner of the Foster-Bellevue contest at 7 p.m. Thursday.
