Mount Rainier Futbol Club’s Under-17 92 Blue from Sumner is competing in the U.S. Youth Soccer Region IV Presidents Cup June 16-20 in Medford, Ore.

Each U.S. Youth Soccer state association has determined the path by which teams advance to the Region IV Presidents Cup. The teams will be among the more than 77 U-13 through U-17 boys and girls teams from the nine of 14 state associations in Region IV competing for the regional Presidents Cup title.

Nine state associations in Region IV, including host Oregon, will participate. The others represented are Alaska, Arizona, California South, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, Utah and Washington.

Regional winners of the U-14 through U-17 age groups advance to the 2010 U.S. Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup July 8-11 in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
