The Sumner Spartans defeated the Fife Trojans at Wednesday’s home tennis match. The final score was 5-0, but individual results were unavailable.

The Spartans accomplished the same feat against White River on Tuesday.

In No. 1 singles, Jasmine Babcock defeated Hornet Laura Miculinich 6-1, 6-1.

In No. 2 singles, Lauren Baker defeated Danielle Carr for a 6-1, 6-1 Sumner win.

In No. 1 doubles, Sarah Layton and Sam Walsh went 1-6, 6-2, 6-1 against Katie Durrant and Amy Carlson.

In No. 2 doubles, Jessica Silone and Kaitlin Drennen went 7-6, 6-1 against Regan Speyer and Alexis Custer.

In No. 3 doubles, Rachel Kyllo and Hanna Stoppe went 6-1, 3-6, 6-3 against Caitlin Turley and Talia Pernorio.

Sumner is scheduled to play a home match against Clover Park at 3:30 p.m. Friday.
