Lake Tapps cruised to its sixth win of the season with a 17 – 6 boys high school lacrosse defeat of Tahoma, Friday at Tahoma High School.
The win was the third in a row for Tapps, which is just a half game behind King’s Wayt in the Division I Southwest Conference.
Tahoma got out of the gates early taking a 3 – 2 lead in the first, before Tapps scored four unanswered goals in the secon for a 6 – 3 lead at the half. Tapps had five in the third and six in the fourth to seal the win.
Dane Barber, Josh Davenport, Keenan Fagan and Michael Lucchesi all had a trio of goals for Tapps in the win. Jaron Scarbrough had 8 saves in goal.
Lake Tapps (6-1-0) next faces Bainbridge (3-5-0), Wednesday, April 18 in an 8 p.m. start at Bonney Lake High School. Tahoma (5-5-0) next faces Skyline (7-4-0), Wednesday, April 18 in a 7 p.m. start at Tahoma High school
