The White River Hornets beat North Kitsap 11-3 at the Kitsap Fairgrounds in the 1 p.m. game to earn a berth against Sumner in the district championship game.

The Hornets lost 3-2 to the Spartans to take second in district.

White River moves to the regional round of the state tournament next.
