Our world is becoming more and more divided with each passing year. Not only does it seem there are more divisions than in times past, it also seems that the distance across chasms is becoming more difficult to bridge.
The King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged Robert James Morrison, 42, of Bellevue, Aug. 26 with one count of communicating with a minor for immoral purposes and three counts of rape of a child in the third degree. He was arrested Aug. 24 in Renton at Lee’s Martial Arts Academy LLC where he is an instructor and he is listed as the sole governing person for the corporation. Morrison also operated a martial arts studio in Maple Valley.

Buckley will soon be sending some of its jail inmates east of the mountains. During their most recent meeting, members of the Buckley City Council authorized a contract with Yakima County for housing of those sentenced to more than a brief bit of time behind bars.
