Officers were driving down South Prairie Road when three juveniles crossed in front of them. One of the juveniles then took a pen and started to write on the nearby landscaped rock wall.
Officers advised that a male had been detained at the Bonney Lake Justice and Municipal Center for being intoxicated and disorderly on Oct. 3. It appeared the man was drinking from an alcoholic beverage from a plastic water bottle while in court.
Officers were driving on 182nd Ave E when they observed a car pull in front of them. Officers recognized the driver, who was issued a citation for driving with a suspended license last month. Officers pulled over the car and the driver confirmed his license was still suspended.
Officers were called to a shoplift on Sept. 23 where the subject had fled the scene on his bike. According to loss prevention, the male was detained after exiting the store without paying for merchandise. With the help of a customer, the subject was detained, but when he found out loss prevention was on the phone with the police, ran out of the store and escaped on his bike.
Officers were called Sept. 1 to a hit and run report. Witnesses told officers a white van was tailgating them, but when they pulled over to let the van pass, the van’s drivers-side tires hit the curb, spun out and collided with a tree, which is how the scene looked when officers arrived.
