The Sumner track and field team will once again be a force in the South Puget Sound League and at the state meet. Last season the boys took 10th at state and the girls 14th.
With warmer weather and longer days just around the corner, it’s time the Panthers return to the soccer field and kick the season into gear. Bonney Lake ended their last season in the middle ranks with a 5-11 record, but 10-season coach Luke Helling-Christy said this year’s team is youthful, energetic and won’t be hampered by the loss of graduated players.
