Lane Walthers and Phil Fortunato are seeking the 31st District State House Position No. 2 seat that was previously held by Rep. Chris Hurst, D-Greenwater. Hurst decided not to seek re-election. Last Friday the Pierce County Prosecutor’s Office charged Leisa Anne Wagner, 51, with Assault in the Second Degree and Unlawful Imprisonment. The Prosecutor’s Elder Abuse Unit is handling the case.
