Officers pulled over a vehicle on Jan. 17. The driver produced no ID or insurance, but admitted to some warrants. The car was impounded due to the new Bonney Lake impound policy, and the driver was booked into SCORE Jail.
Officers were fueling their patrol vehicle on Jan. 15 when they spotted a car that was reported stolen out of Tumwater in August. Officers pulled up to the car when it stopped but found no one in it. Officers kept an eye on the vehicle, and eventually five males entered the car.
Officers were called on Jan. 15 to a report of a stolen log splitter. The splitter, weighing 22 tons, was on a trailer, and the owner said they did not have it registered with the Department of Licensing. There was a lock on the hitch of the trailer, but it was cut.
Officers were contacted by loss prevention on Jan. 14 about a strange pill bottle with at least two different kinds of pills inside, including over-the-counter and prescription painkillers
