Recently one of my courses at Green River College was dropped due to lack of enrollment. I wasn’t happy about it but there was nothing I could do. That left me with a choice: to mourn the loss, or to appreciate that I had enjoyed the benefit for five years. I chose to appreciate what I had.

The public will have the chance to run, bike or simply stroll across the world’s longest floating bridge in April. The Washington State Department of Transportation will host a grand opening celebration to mark the completion of the new State Route 520 floating bridge.
A state-wide scholarship is available for Bonney Lake students who are involved with the City of Bonney Lake or with community or school leadership activities. The $1,000 scholarship is paid for by the Association of Washington Cities (AWC) Center for Quality Communities Scholarship program.
