The hoop edition of the Battle of the Bridge was played out over the course of two nights last week. The Hornet-Hornet girls' game was contested Thursday and the boys tussled the following evening; both victories went to the home-court Enumclaw teams. White River girls basketball undefeated so far

It looks likely a repeat trip to state is in the cards for all four Hornets teams.

The White River girls rolled past Orting High Friday night, allowing the visiting Cardinals just eight points in each half on the way to a lopsided 68-16 victory.
