The Sumner Spartans fell to their Puyallup opponents 37-7.
Both the Sumner Spartans and Enumclaw Hornets continued their hot starts, while the White River crew picked up their opening win of the campaign.
The Hornets return a handful of volleyball players from last year’s team that went undefeated during the regular season and placed fourth at the Class 2A state tournament.
